I simply cannot get over the fact that in less than 2 months, Foster will be a year old! Shouldn't I be slimmer? He is so big and so sweet! In fact, I put a pair of shorts on him this morning, and I was glad I did because they are a little tight! Oops! I guessed we missed the boat on those. I am thinking I need to go back through the closet and pull out the items I love so much and just hate to put away...and actually wash some of the 12-18 month stuff! Wow! He is so long. I haven't gotten him to Dr. West yet for the 10 month check, but will do it next week and provide a weight and a height. He moves
so much now that he has probably lost weight since the 9 month check up. But...there is no question, that he is longer and his feet are bigger- size 4 already!
I had a hard time taking his 10 month photo with his Andy because all he wants to do it roll over or stand up! He is definitely our son- a mover! Crawling everywhere...even with a peg leg sometimes! And he pulls up on anything and everything! He is super close to walking by himself, but is satisfied with just holding onto our fingers for now.
I also decided to put the aviator hat I bought him when he was born back on to take a few more photos. OMG- perfect fit and so incredibly cute! Even cuter than the last time he wore it at 11 weeks old!
He has been on a pretty regular schedule for the past couple months (aside from the last few days of NO afternoon napping- he just rolls around, talks to himself, and cries a little). In all fairness, though, Daniel brought home a lovely little cold from work that Foster has caught. He has been Mr. Runny Nose for the past few days- poor guy!
He wakes between 7:30-8am. He has his formula (7oz) out of a bottle first and and eats a hearty breakfast of eggs, cottage cheese, fruit, and bagel. He had pack n play time for 30 minutes and then we walk the dogs. He gets his free play for about 30 minutes before his morning nap, which starts between 10-10:15 and lasts until noon most days. HE rolls around for 10-15 minutes and then goes to sleep. At lunch he drinks his formula (6oz) out of his sippy cup (loves the one with the straw). For lunch he normally has some lunch meat, crackers, yogurt, and fruit. We normally run errands during this time in the day or play next door with Shelby, if she is at the Bell's for the day. He naps between 2 and 2:30 until around 4. Then another 7 oz formula bottle. We do blanket time for 30 minutes and then walk dogs. When dad gets home (on days he gets home) Foster and he play together on the floor or Foster rides on his shoulders around the house. Occasionally we will pack up and head to the pool at the YMCA for a swim! He is such a little fish! Dinner is between 6:30 and 7. Foster drinks 6 oz of formula from his sippy cup and eats whatever we are having for dinner. Last night he has black bean lasagna for the first time and loved it! So funny, though because this morning he had undigested beans in his poo! Bath is at 7:30 and bedtime is a strict 8pm. All in all...a great schedule!
He has gotten his third tooth and it appears that the fourth may pop through soon too. The third one is his top right tooth and the next door neighbor is awfully swollen!
