Aunt Meme Comes to Town...

I cannot believe it has been two months since I last updated my blog.  It took Jaime coming to town and actually taking pictures of our son for me to post!  I have gotten so lazy with my picture taking...and without a photo, who wants to read the blog???

In the last two months, foster has gotten another tooth and we have begun the transition from two naps down to one.  Most days he takes one nap, but the poop monster is definitely a major problem.  For, like most human beings...
he doesn't want to sleep with poop in his pants!  However, we then end up with Mr. Fussy Pants on our hands the remainder of the day.

It hasn't been too bad, until this past week, because Daniel has been in Scottland for 3 weeks.  Our year with him at home has quickly been eaten away to 10.5 months, what with two short exercises in The British Isles.

Foster has become very comfortable with walking and is very quick to get places...especially places he should not be!  He is already "testing" us with what he can and cannot get away with.  He sleeps a solid 11.5 to 12 hour night and most days sleeps for about 3 hours during the day (unless the poop monster visits!)
He is such a joy and is complimented everywhere we go on his good behavior and his laid back personality which he obviously got from me!  Haha!

He doesn't have too many words, but he can sign, "All Done" and he has begun pointing at things.  I really don't push too much on him, unlike several moms I have come in contact with.  I want him to grow and develop at his own rate, and not at one I set for him.  HE likes to make sounds, though.  If you ask him what the dogs say he will go "wowowowowow."  It is just adorable.  He will also "roar" when you ask him what a lion says (most of the time).  He clearly says Mama and runs to me, and I think when his "dada" gets home he will do the same for him.  He also likes to give the dogs treats when they "kennel up."

WE certainly have missed Daniel this go around!  And clearly neither of us can wait for him to get home!
