As a super super mom I decided to follow in the footsteps of other super moms who also happen to be environmentally conscious and use cloth diapers. Of course today's cloth diapers are certainly nothing like your mother's! They have a cute little shell and liners for daytime and nighttime use. Apparently they are simple to use, so leave it to me to have trouble even in the trial run.
Upon the very first use, I had leakage, or rather Foster did. I decided to ask the expert. I was absolutely sure that the newer version with snaps were simply not as good as the original ones made with Velcro. However, if you use them correctly, either version is adequate. To prevent leakage you have to use the thick daytime liner, not just the skinny extra liner that is meant to be placed in the diaper in addition to the daytime liner. Duh! Apparently after having a baby you truly have lost intelligence! Wow- what's next?
Amazingly, once the liners were used correctly there was no leakage. What a concept-
