Today Foster and I hosted a little gathering for some of the neighbors and their children to celebrate the upcoming Spooky holiday, Halloween. Some came in costume and some just looked festive! We served pumpkin turkey chili, pumpkin dip and gingersnaps, and ooey, gooey bug cupcakes. Yum! The older kids enjoyed pinning the nose on the Jack-O-Lantern and a Halloween bean bag toss. Thank you to all who helped make this event so much fun!
BTW- When I first mentioned this little "shindig" to mom, her response was as follows, " Courtney, I knew you would eventually get into this, but I didn't think it would happen so soon." Not sure why she was so surprised. Anyone who knows me knows I love to plan things and I always keep busy. Now that work isn't on the plate, sucking my creativity out of me each day, I get to use my creative nature in really fun ways...and there is no paperwork! Looking forward to planning a homecoming party for Daniel and a Christmas party for all out friends in the area!
