This year, unlike any year before we selected our tree before Thanksgiving! The mortal sin! But, with Daniel leaving just after the holiday, we had a lot of Christmas type things to cram in before he left. We went up the street to the lot we got our gorgeous tree from last year. We chose a 10 foot Fraser Fur...
and left it sit in a bucket of water for the entire next day. Thanksgiving night after getting back from a day trip to Savannah, where Jaime and Will treated my parents, Mommom and Harriet, and us to a fabulous meal, we decided to go ahead and decorate the tree. By 10:00 pm we had the lights and ornaments on and our house was all "Christmased Out!"
Friday morning we woke and had Christmas with Foster. We spent the rest of the day preparing for Daniel's departure. This morning he made his final exit and I am once again a single parent fr the next 6-7 months! Ugh!
