Foster's First Christmas!

For a Special Boy from a Very Special Girl

Mama Jill(MJ), Papa Jack(PJ), Auntie Meme, and soon to be Uncle Will joined Daniel and I at our home in Fernandina for Foster's very first Christmas morning.  He was such a good boy all day....from early rising to his bedtime routine.  He awoke after a night of peaceful slumber excited to see what Santa Claus had brought him.  He was more excited about the wrapping paper, to be honest!  Mama Jill's good friend Amy had a dear sister who lived a short life.  She had a beloved rocking chair that she gave to MJ to refinish for Foster.  It makes such a sweet additon to our family room, and it was so thoughtful for Amy to let it go to our sweet little man.

Tis the Season

Recently Daniel and I had our friend and amazing photographer, Brianna Westfall, take some holiday photos of the family.  Thought I would post just a few and add her address to my blog.  That way if anyone wants to see the rest of the photos, you can!  Happy Holidays to all!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

This weekend, our family decorated for Christmas!   Missing our link, Daniel, overseas, it just didn't feel right to decorate without him.  We picked our very first live tree, as we will be having Christmas at our own home for the first time since we have been married...and with our newest addition to the family!  We also took Foster to visit Santa.  He was clearly on the Nice list, although with an explosion in his pants on the way there...Dad was thinking he might have been moved to the naughty list instead!

Friday, December 2nd was the best day our family has had in a long time.  Not only did Daniel return from a 6 month desert deployment, flying P3 Orions, but he and Foster met for the very first time.
