This is such a fabulous time of year for events. I love to host, as most know, and this year was no different. I hosted 11 moms and 14 toddlers at my house on December 20th and although chaotic...such fun. Sara Collins helped co-host and I was so thankful she offered. We had quite a spread with Peach Sangria, Chicken Salad Croissants, and Nutcracker Pull-Apart Cupcakes!
The kids participated in a Secret Santa, which was hilarious.
At one point I looked out into the family room and could barely make out the carpet. All the kids were excitedly playing with their gifts and there was paper spread out everywhere!
While the kids took home a gift of play, the moms took home a gift of cellulite! We had a cookie exchange, and a successful one at that. At our house we just finished the last cookie yesterday, and MJ and PJ have been here for 10 days! Delicious!
It is always delightful seeing the kids running around in the backyard, playing with each other and around each other! The wagon is usually the commodity and this event was no different! Thank you to all who came and we will see you for a Valentine's Day party in February!
