July in Janurary

The King of his Florida Castle!!!

With 80 degree weather it was only fitting that Foster should get to try out his water table with water in it!  So, we filled it up and let 'er rip!  It was such a huge hit!  He saw Welli trying to drink out of it and thought it was a great idea to try that himself...hence the second photo below!  Of course 3 days later it was 50 degrees again, so the water experience was short lived.  No wonder Foster has had a runny nose and a cough for the last 2 months.  Mother Nature simply cannot make up her mind.  One day we have a high of 82 and the next day the high drops to 55!

On the 15th, we saw Dr. West for Foster's 18 month appointment.  He measured 33 inches tall (75th percentile) and weighed in at an ounce shy of 27 lbs (b/t 50th and 75th percentile).  He has finally grown into his rather large head, which is now only in the 75th percentile.  Dr. West claimed he was the perfect size and that he could not be in any better state!  And of course while we were there, he decided to create a racetrack on the table!

Foster started Kindermusik at the end of the month and he loves it.  He participates and jumps around dancing.  He loves to "put the toys away".  No surprise since he is my child!  OCD much???

We took a break from the winter heat and humidity of Florida and headed to Atlanta for a week of winter appropriate weather! Such fun with MJ and PJ! Foster was excited about all the fun toys MJ had for him...including a giant Tonka truck that he pushed all over the house and backyard!  Welli was in heaven in the backyard with Bailey running around and barking...so funny to watch the two of them together!  Welli was worn out when we left!  As always, Foster was an excellent little travel partner, enjoying his movies and his car toys.  We look forwad to making another trip that way in the spring!
